After a week of less than amazing weather the day dawned, perfect for whale watching this morning, and both Whale One and Wild One have gone out fully booked. The report from the Skipper is the weather is excellent, with only a small swell and gentle breeze. The first 2 whales of the day this morning were spotted 2 nautical miles offshore. another 3 whales were spotted also. These whales were also glad to see the sun and were coming right up to the boat giving us some muggings, fluke up dives and peduncle throws.
This afternoon we saw 2 whales 3 nautical miles north east of Point Cartwright. These whales were at the surface every 10 minutes and have us some close encounters, peduncle throws, tail slaps and were swimming around the boat
