Perfect sunny conditions today out on the water which was complimented by the amazing whale performances for our guests on board Whale One!
Today just 2 nautical miles south east of Point Cartwright, we saw a pod of 5 whales who put on a spectacular acrobatic show. These gentle giants were showing off with breaching, fluke up dives, pec slaps and tail slaps. Our delighted guests were treated to some very close encounters as the whales swam all around the boat!
This afternoon we were greeted by several pods of whales. We were graced by a mother and calf who were more than happy to play alongside the boat. The inquisitive calf practiced some massive peduncle throws pushing its powerful tail out of the water. All tuckered out our beautiful calf retreated to the underside of mum where our passengers watched on as our new mother proceeded to feed her calf. If the afternoon couldn’t get any better, we were overwhelmed when a magnificent Humpback gave us some amazing up close and personal breaches.
