Some spectacular whale activity continuing during the first week of school holidays. Just off Mudjimba Island we had a mother humpback whale bring her 2 tonne baby out to play and entertain the guests! These two gentle giants wanted a good look at us too, so they were inquisitively swimming around the side and bow of the boat.
As we headed south towards Point Cartwright, both mother and calf were throwing themselves out of the water, showing off with some breaching and also giving us a wave with their tail flukes as they dove down.
