This morning we spotted whale pod after whale pod. We started off with our first pod just of Point Cartwright. This enclosure was with a mother and calf that came up right up to the boat, as they headed off we let them go on their journey south. The other four pods we found were all including mother, calf and escort. At one stage we were surrounded by two pods while they entertained us with breaches, fluke up dives and peduncle throws. When we headed back into Mooloolaba we spotted some bottle nose dolphins to top off this perfect morning of whale watching.
