Total of 8 whales.
We are finishing off the 2016 whale season in spectacular style, with plenty of active whales still coming out to play with amazing weather conditions all week. Due to the huge amount of whales this season, we have extended the season through until THURSDAY NOVEMBER 3RD, so don’t miss out on seeing this amazing sight.
This morning Whale One saw 2 mother and calves very close in only 1 nautical mile out of Pt Cartwright. 1 of the pair were doing peduncle throws and tail slaps, while the calf was on his back doing pec slaps, the other pair gave us some nice close up encounters alongside the boat. They also spent some time with a pod of 4 adult whales with close encounters.
Passengers on the Wild One were treated to some awesome head lunges not far from the boat as well as mother and calf breaching all the way along the beach.
Be sure to book on one of our trips, for your chance to encounter these beautiful gentle giants on their southern migration past our coastline!
BOOK before the end of October for your whale adventure. Only $59 adults and $39 children (under 4 cruise FREE on board Whale One)
