We were only 3.5 nautical miles east of Point Cartwright when we caught sight of a breach that gave away our first pod of two juvenile humpback whales. We had some lovely close encounters as we traveled south with them. On our way back to Mooloolaba, we come upon another pod of two mature whales – these whales proved to be very exciting with a couple of big breaches which were caught on camera by our cameraman Rob. Check out this amazing photo. Tomorrow’s conditions are looking picture perfect – can’t wait to get out again!!!!
