What a day had onboard Whale One today. Each cruise had some of the greatest displays of whales seen. We watched two pods of mums and calves come together to play and they really put on a show for us. We’re sure the calves were trying to outbreach each other with tails slaps, tail lobs and peduncle throws in between breaches. The afternoon cruise was no different – we enjoyed a big mumma, calf and escort dazzling us with the closest of breaches ever had – the female breached so close to our boat our friends on the bow got drenched from the splash. One amazing day !
